Ambassador code of conduct
Every ambassador represents the values of GOT A COUCH? This code of conduct is a mandatory part of every application.
1. Respect
Treat every member with courtesy, regardless of background, opinions, or circumstances.
2. Neutrality
Never use the ambassador role to promote personal, political, or commercial interests.
3. Inclusion
Welcome and support members from all backgrounds equally.
4. Confidentiality
Never seek out or share another member's private information.
5. No harassment
Harassment of any kind is never tolerated, in any circumstance.
6. No solicitation of money
An ambassador never uses their role to ask members for money.
7. No promise of employment or benefits
An ambassador never promises a job, payment, or advantage on behalf of GOT A COUCH?
8. No legal representation
An ambassador is never authorized to present themselves as a legal representative of GOT A COUCH?
9. Conflicts of interest
Any conflict of interest must be disclosed to the GOT A COUCH? team as soon as it arises.
10. Brand usage
The GOT A COUCH? name and visual identity may only be used as authorized by the team.
Reporting a concern about an ambassador
If an ambassador doesn't follow this code, you can report it from their profile or the ambassador directory. Every report is reviewed by a human moderator, and the ambassador concerned has the right to respond before any decision is made.
